The Citizen’s Advice Office of Tenerife’s Council, was awarded yesterday with the “Committed to Excellence” Certification, after successfully passing the EFQM Model Assessment in December, with a score of more than 200 points.
The award ceremony took place on Monday, 15th February at the Great Hall of Tenerife Council and has enjoyed the participation of Carlos Alonso, President of the Council, Coromoto Yanes, Minister of Citizen’s Advice Department, Francisco Martin-Santamaria, Regional Area Manager of Bureau Veritas and Beatriz Saro, Administrative Service Chief of Citizen Participation Department at the Council of Tenerife.
The European EFQM Excellence Model Assessment is very demanding in terms of quality. Plan B Group advised the Citizen’s Advice Office throughout the entire implementation process in recent months. The Citizen’s Advice Office adopted this model of organizational excellence as an instrument to improve the services they provide to the Island of Tenerife’s citizenship. This also allows establishing a philosophy of continuous improvement, a culture of excellence in everyday work and a deep understanding of the company identity, to detect their key strengths and the lines to be improved and to work on to successfully face an eventual future evaluation.
