Carlos Sosa, Web Developer at Plan B Group, is awarded with the gold medal at the National Vocational Training Olympics in Spain.

Carlos Sosa, a member of Plan B Group, won the gold medal in the ‘Web Design’ Category  at the National Vocational Training Olympics, which took place from 12th  to 17th of February of 2013 at IFEMA, Madrid.

After winning the WorldSkills 2012 of the Canary Islands in the month of June last year, Carlos Sosa has represented the Canary Islands in the National Championship, where participants faced the challenge of developing a web community of Spanish recipes in which every user could be registered for sharing their own recipes, places of interest, media area, plus an administration panel to manage the portal.

Our colleague was the only gold medal for the Canary Islands, followed by two silver medals in Kitchen and Industrial Control and two bronze medals in Poly-mechanical and Aesthetics.

Participating in these tournaments is an important element of youth and business motivation to achieve the highest level of excellence in vocational training and improvement of professional competence. Carlos Sosa, who started working at Plan B Group as an intern, became part of the company on July 2012. His work is enabling the development of very specific websites for international markets, either Spanish companies that want to offer their products via e-commerce abroad or foreign companies that want to be known in Spain.
