Biocontrol Canarias, SL ist eine Firma, die auf den Sicherheits-, Technik-, und Lebensmittelsicherheits-Sektor spezialisiert ist. Ihre Arbeit beruht sich hauptsächlich auf die Vorsorge. Dazu muss ein bestimmtes Qualitätsniveau eingehalten werden, das von medizinisch-technischer Gesetzgebung vorgegeben wird. Dazu gehören Systemanalyse, Audits, physikalisch-chemische und mikrobiologische Untersuchungen von Lebensmitteln, Oberflächen und Wasser.
Biocontrol hatte schon vor einiger Zeit versucht das ISO 9001 Qualtiätszertifikat zu erlangen, aber ohne Erfolg. Deswegen hat die Firma 2011 die Plan B Group angestellt um ihnen dabei zu helfen.
Die Umsetzung des Qualitätmanagementsystems bestand aus der Anpassung aller Handlungen auf die neue ISO 9001 Norm. Man hat einige schon vorhandene Dokumente ausnutzen können, musste sie aber noch einmal überarbeiten. Von dem abgesehen, entschied man sich auch dazu die Anzahl der Dokumente zu verringern, indem man einige Dokumente zusammenschloss. Zum Beispiel gab es drei verschiedene Verfahren die sich mit Verbesserungsmaßnahmen beschäfigt haben und man hat erreicht, es zu einem einzigen Dokument zusammenzufassen.
Darüber hinaus wurden eine Reihe von guten Praktiken eingeführt, da die Berater der Plan B Group den Sektor gut kennen und wissen auf was die Prüfer achten. Es gab keine definierte Methode wie die Organisation die gesetzlichen Anforderungen behandelt hat, was unbedingt vorhanden sein musste aufgrund der großen Menge an Rechtsvorschrifen die man in der Lebensmittelsicherheit beachten muss.

2012 hat Biocontrol dann von Bureau Veritas das ISO 9001:2008 Zertifikat überreicht bekommen und hat somit seinen Kunden die exzellente Dienstleistung bewiesen.
Die Einführung der ISO 9001 Norm hat Biocontrol eine bessere Leistungsfähigkeit erbracht, da jegliche Fehler in Prozessabläufen abgeschafft wurden. Diese gesteigerte Leistungsfähigkeit haben auch die Kunden wahrgenommen, da die jährlichen Fragebögen viel besser ausgefallen sind.
Nach dem Prozess haben die Plan B Group und Biocontrol weiterhin zusammen gearbeitet. Zu den Arbeiten haben unter anderem die internen Audits gehört, die man jährlich durchführen muss wenn man im Besitz eines Zertifikates ist. Bei den Audits hat das Team der Plan B Group geprüft ob alle Verfahren der ISO Norm entsprechen.
Die Arbeit der Plan B Group hat sich gelohnt, da im Jahr 2014 das Qualitäts-Zertifikat verlängert wurde, was die gute Arbeit der Firma und unserer Berater beweist.
