Plan B Group se ha certificado como una de las 40 primeras Empresas Más Sostenibles de Tenerife, una iniciativa promovida por el Cabildo de Tenerife y la Cámara de Comercio de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, mediante el cumplimiento manifiesto de un Decálogo de Buenas Prácticas que dan lugar a una gestión más sostenible de la organización.
El compromiso adquirido por las Empresas Más Sostenibles contempla aspectos relacionados con el medio ambiente, el bienestar social y su vinculación con el entorno, la formación, la igualdad, los derechos humanos, la ética y la transparencia de la información, concretamente incluidos en el siguiente Decálogo:
- Priorizar la compra de productos y la contratación de servicios que sean respetuosos con el medio ambiente, el producto local y el “Comercio Justo”.
- Contribuir a la mejora energética y a la disminución de emisiones, con el objeto de reducir las huellas de carbono y ecológica corporativa.
- Realizar la correcta gestión de residuos.
- Promover la cultura del consumo social y ambientalmente responsable.
- Apostar por una responsabilidad ambiental y la preservación del Medio Ambiente local.
- Facilitar el acceso a la formación ambiental y de integración social.
- Evitar hacer uso de una publicidad engañosa o ambiental y socialmente irresponsable.
- Promover la igualdad e integración social.
- Facilitar la conciliación laboral, familiar y personal.
- Promover y difundir los compromisos adoptados hacia un modelo de gestión más sostenible.
Con la obtención de esta certificación, Plan B Group se une a un grupo de empresas tinerfeñas pioneras en el tratamiento de la sostenibilidad de sus organizaciones, con una perspectiva de generar mayor desarrollo para el entorno que les rodea.
