El 20 de junio de 2013 tuvo lugar en el Centro Insular de Entidades de Voluntariado de Tenerife el Taller ”Aplicación de la Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos”, una iniciativa organizada por la Sociedad Insular Para la Promoción de las Personas con Discapacidad (SINPROMI) del Cabildo de Tenerife dentro del Programa Tenerife Solidario e impartida por Plan B Group a través de su Director General, Alberto J. Santana.
Este Taller ha tenido como destinatarios a organizaciones pertenecientes al tercer sector: entidades sin ánimo de lucro, organizaciones no gubernamentales e iniciativas de voluntariado, que también deben cumplir el tratamiento exigido por la Ley en materia de Protección de Datos Personales. Por este motivo, Plan B Group ha participado en este taller como entidad docente y ofrecer así apoyo a las organizaciones de este sector para trasladarles el conocimiento sobre la legislación aplicable y otras cuestiones prácticas que les permita llevar su cumplimiento con mayor eficiencia.
