Plan B Group y la Cámara de Comercio de Lanzarote han llevado a cabo la acción formativa ¿Cumples la Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos? el pasado 05 de junio con el objetivo de trasladar a las empresas la necesidad de cumplir con exactitud las obligaciones de esta Ley, así como los aspectos clave de su aplicación en la organización y resolver las dudas de los asistentes.
La Ley Orgánica de Protección de Datos es una norma en vigor desde hace años y su cumplimiento es de vital importancia para las empresas por numerosos motivos. Proteger la confidencialidad de los clientes y empleados de la empresa, ser un requisito imprescindible para optar a ayudas públicas o las altas sanciones impuestas por la Agencia de Protección de Datos a las empresas infractoras son algunos de los argumentos que obligan a las organizaciones a cumplir la LOPD, pero son muchas las cuestiones que en la práctica diaria de las empresas generan dudas al respecto, que fueron respondidas en esta acción formativa.
Durante esta jornada, Alberto J. Santana ha insistido a los asistentes en la importancia del cumplimiento de esta Ley no sólo por sus consecuencias económicas, sino como mecanismo de transparencia de las organizaciones para garantizar la seguridad de los datos de sus clientes y eliminar su incertidumbre a la hora de tomar una decisión de compra.
