The Council of Tenerife, with the collaboration of Plan B Group, organizes a training course on Citizen Participation, addressed to the Island municipalities

Participación-Curso

The Council of Tenerife, through its Department of Citizen’s Advice and Participation, promotes citizen participation through training activities for technical and political staff, in order to facilitate the management of participatory processes in the municipalities and to encourage citizens’ participation by involving them in decisions and proposals of public issue.

In this framework, Plan B Group is the enterprise in charge of organizing, managing and providing the training course called “Participatory Methods in the Local Public Administration”. The course is addressed to the political and technical staff of the departments of Citizen Participation and Youth of each municipality of Tenerife.

Such training is divided into 6 units, and it will be held from April 2016 until October 2016. At that date each Municipality will present a project concerning citizen participation developed throughout the course, since the ultimate goal of this action is to launch any project in which citizens may approach to the proposals and initiatives they will directly take advantage from.
