Plan B Group keeps the economic partnership with the University of La Laguna thanks to the crowdfunding platform mULLtiplica and with the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria through its Corporate Social Responsibility, which Plan B has been working on since 2012, constantly improving and expanding its commitment.

The objective, this time, was to support the launch of the third edition of the Canary Islands Science and Technology Canmpus – CCT Canarias 2016 whose aim is to promote scientific curiosity and interest among students of secondary schools in the Canary Islands, through showing them the daily work of a researcher at the University of La Laguna, at the University of Las Palmas, and at the RD associated centres.

This project will benefit a total of about 132 students, who will have the opportunity to work in one of these four scientific fields:

Field 1: Biomedicine and Health

Field 2: Energy, Environment and Biodiversity

Field 3: ICT and Computer Sciences

Field 4: Science and Society.

These projects, which aim is to improve the conditions of our environment and society, can be brought to reality even with the smallest commitment. This is where organizations can play an important role through their Corporate Social Responsibility.
