Plan B Group visit Bilbao as members of the expedition “Camino Lean 2015” to discover the innovation system of the Basque Country

From the 10th to the 13th of March 2015, Plan B Group, represented by its General Director, Alberto J. Santana, took part in the expedition “Camino Lean 2015” organized by the Council of Tenerife, the Science and Technology Park of Tenerife and the University of La Laguna, through which a group of companies and organizations of the island contacted directly with the principal agents of innovation of the Basque Country.

During four intense days of meetings and encounters, the visitors had the opportunity to meet firsthand innovation mechanisms of the Basque society in public and private sectors, visiting reference entities internationally in this field, such as the Basque Innovation Agency, the Science and Technology Park of Bizkaia or the Mondragon Corporation among others. In addition, the expedition allowed to meet new and innovative initiatives such as the Urban Plan ZAWP Bilbao or Leinn Grade (leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation) promoted by the University of Mondragon.

Similarly, the relationship generated during these four days allowed to contact organizations of Tenerife and the Basque Country, and to take the first steps that lead to synergies between the organizations of the island that took part of the expedition with the aim of developing new innovation projects.
